115-1 BEST Test Notice
115-1 BESTEP Registration Now Open
Registration closes at 5:00 PM on September 9. We encourage all eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity and apply as early as possible.
Funded by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and developed by the Language Training & Testing Center (LTTC), the BESTEP (Bilingual Education for Students in Colleges Test of English Proficiency) is designed to evaluate university students' academic English proficiency across listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Test scores can be mapped to corresponding TOEFL and TOEIC equivalencies.
Eligibility: Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students of this university (excluding international native English speakers/exchange students).
Test Dates:
Speaking & Writing Tests: Saturday, October 17, 2026
Listening & Reading Tests: Saturday, November 21, 2026
Venue: Library and Information Building / General Education Building, National Chung Cheng University
Registration Period: From now until September 9, 2026
(Please note: Due to limited MOE funding and project requirements, applicants will be screened and prioritized accordingly.)
Test Duration:
Speaking: 15 minutes
Writing: 50 minutes
Listening: 35 minutes
Reading: 50 minutes
Fee: Free (Fully subsidized by the Ministry of Education)
